Strategic Internet Marketing Strategy Part 1 (introduction)
Strategic marketing strategy part 1 (introduction)
Hey everyone, I’m going to be writing a series on a strategic marketing strategy over the next days/ weeks.
Well, if you’re like the average Joe who is just getting started with internet marketing I bet you’ve heard that you can make a huge amount of money online with only a few hours of work every day. While this is very true, in that, it is possible to make upwards of 1000-4000 every week on autopilot, what you don’t know is that it’ll take you a lot of work to get to that point, unless you’ve got thousands of dollars to throw around.
I know, I know you were super excited about quitting your day job and spending quality time with you family or spending you days collecting checks and living it up. I’m sorry to dash your dreams, because the real world isn’t exactly like that. You actually have to work very, very hard to succeed. However if you have somebody like me to guide you in the right direction, I can save you a bunch of time money, disappointment and frustration.
That’s what this “Strategic marketing strategy” is meant to do; be a general guide so that you can avoid common pitfall’s and achieve certain success in the long run.
But what is a “Strategic marketing strategy”? Its just a fancy and redundant way of saying marketing plan. I’m positive you must have heard the saying “95% of businesses fail because of lack of planning or lack of a business plan.” You can just imagine some tired looking business consultant wearing a cheap suit saying that. The fact is that businesses get set up and running with their business plan, it’s actually their marketing plan that fails. In this day in age, the old adage “If you build it they will come” really does not hold any water. It should be more like “if you build it and tell everybody why they should come in a unique and effective way then and only then they will come, and if you get people to tell other people for you then you’ll be golden.”
If you didn’t figure it out already, a marketing plan is a highly strategic and highly thought out long term plan for you to get a continuous stream of customers and sales. Without customers and sales, you will fail.
Unfortunately the ways to market to your prospects are constantly changing and evolving, so for you to maximize your success, your marketing plan must have room to be changed and optimized on the fly. The good thing however, is that the principles of marketing are always the same. So if you build your marketing plan around a solid and proven criteria then you’ll be on the right track, and after hard work and focused energy you will be able to make those thousand of dollars on auto-pilot.
I’m not sure how many parts I’m going to make this series but I’ll make sure that you’ll be able to learn how to jump-start your businesses marketing plan. This will also be focused mainly on internet marketing and ways to make money online but the same principles and practices can be applied to regular businesses and if you have an existing business you should strongly consider setting up an effective online presence.
With this series You’ll learn:
- Where to start.
- What all the different ways of making money online are.
- The pros and cons of each method.
- How to take action an actually accomplish each method.
- The different stages of marketing.
- How to write appealing advertisements.
- How to weigh different decisions as you make your marketing plan
- Also how to analyze and refine your plan after you have executed it.
- How to lay out your time, and when to expect pay offs.
- And best of all how to stay motivated and have fun the whole time.
